Jacarra Winchester is an American freestyle wrestler. She won the gold medal in the women’s 55 kg event at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships and the 2021 Pan American Wrestling Championships. She also represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan
Jacarra is currently dominant over all of her domestic competition and most of her international competition but is working diligently to widen that gap even more and become flat out dominant in her weight class. She does this by using a wrestling style that she deems “unorthodox” but the crowd sees as exciting and explosive. Jacarra’s advice to younger wrestlers is, “don’t be afraid to get tired” something Jacarra’s opponents know a little something about.
